Terms and Conditions for the CXI Giveaway
1. Organizer
The organizer of the giveaway is the CXI Conference / Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences – Faculty of Design, Interaktion 1, 33619 Bielefeld, Germany (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”). This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta.
2. Eligibility
Participation is open to all natural persons aged 18 or older. Employees of Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and any individuals involved in organizing the CXI Conference are excluded from participation.
3. Participation Period
The participation period for each giveaway will be announced in the corresponding Instagram post. Entries or comments submitted after the end of the participation period will not be considered.
4. Entry Requirements
Participation is possible only via the official Instagram account of the CXI Conference: @cxi_konferenz. To enter, participants must complete the steps stated in the respective post (e.g., following the account and tagging another person). Multiple entries will not be considered.
5. Prize and Winner Selection
The items mentioned in each respective post will be raffled among all eligible participants. Winners will be selected at random and notified via Instagram direct message. If a winner does not respond within seven (7) days, the claim to the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner may be selected. Cash payment, transfer, or exchange of the prize is excluded. Legal recourse is excluded.
6. Data Protection
For the purpose of conducting the giveaway, personal data (e.g., Instagram username, name, postal address for prize delivery) will be processed. The data will be used solely for the administration of the giveaway and deleted after its completion. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract). 7. Limitation of Liability
The Organizer is not liable for technical disruptions, failures of the Instagram service, or data losses beyond its control. In the event of manipulation or violations of these Terms and Conditions, the Organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the giveaway.
8. Modification or Termination of the Giveaway
The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the giveaway at any time for good cause (e.g., legal or technical reasons) if the proper execution of the giveaway can no longer be guaranteed.
9. Final Provisions
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
