Marietta Fuhrmann-Koch has led the Communication and Marketing Department at Heidelberg University since March 2009, having previously held a similar post at the University of Göttingen. This followed studies in sociology, German, and media studies and journalism training, and 15 years working for Deutsche Presse-Agentur. She also taught tertiary education PR & marketing for 10 semesters in Göttingen University’s Media Studies department.
