Hansjörg Goldener

After studying land registry administration, and then general administration, he worked first in land registry in the city of St Gallen before holding the position of town clerk in Rorschach for 12 years. He became town clerk at Rapperswil in May 2004, with his work defined by the pending merger of the town with neighbouring Jona. His duties included membership of the steering group tasked with overseeing the merger. After the process was completed on 1st January 2007, he became deputy town clerk and information officer for Rapperswil-Jona, a post that he holds to this day.
