Axel Knapp

Axel Knapp studied advertising and pre-press production in Offenburg bei Burda, specialising in digital media production. After working for MCC smart as a design assistant in Stuttgart, in the field of brand marketing/corporate design, and as a digital media designer at erdmannpeisker in Biel (Switzerland), in 2002 Axel joined the Ippolito Fleitz Group in Stuttgart. Since 2008 he has been director of communication design and a member of the managerial team.

The list of clients Axel Knapp has worked with include Brunner GmbH, Burkhardt Leitner, elidur, janoschka, Konradin-Verlag, Nestlé, Pentadoc, smart, san francisco coffee company, STA Travel, Tanzszene Baden-Württemberg, Praxis weissraum, Rösle, Wechselraum BDA and WGV Versicherungen, covering brand and identity, spatial communication and exhibition/trade fair design. Many of the projects that Axel has worked on for the Ippolito Fleitz Group have received major national and international awards.
