Marie Kube

Marie Kube is a project manager and expert in press and communications with over nine years of professional experience at the intersection of culture and the public sphere. From 2022 to 2025, she co-led the Department of Communications, Press, and Marketing at KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin together with Anna Falck-Ytter. In this role, they were responsible, among other things, for the institution’s digital strategic realignment and the relaunch of its visual identity.

Previously, she worked as a project and communications manager at Kulturprojekte Berlin, overseeing citywide large-scale projects such as the Long Night of Museums, the celebrations for German Unity Day, and the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. She studied cultural studies, economics, and art history. During her studies, she led Jung und Artig, the young friends’ association of the Berlinische Galerie – State Museum for Modern Art, Photography and Architecture.
