Mar­ket researcher Mat­thias Rie­del has been study­ing prod­uct fields, brand images, adver­tis­ing, media and pub­lic rela­tions for many years. He pri­mar­i­ly uses qual­i­ta­tive meth­ods, using these to explore the under­ly­ing log­ic found in these areas. As pro­fes­sor of the­o­ret­i­cal design prin­ci­ples at Mainz Uni­ver­si­ty of Applied Sci­ences, he teach­es Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Design cours­es in mar­ket­ing, brand analy­sis and psy­chol­o­gy.
