Prof. Anja Stöffler

Prof Anja Stöf­fler has taught dig­i­tal design with­in the media design course at Mainz Uni­ver­si­ty of Applied Sci­ences since 2001. She has made a name for her­self in ani­ma­tion for dynam­ic dig­i­tal media, par­tic­u­lar­ly with mov­ing typog­ra­phy – includ­ing the mul­ti-award-win­ning and fre­quent­ly shown pro­duc­tion “Mov­ing Types”. Before she was invit­ed to Mainz, this qual­i­fied com­mu­ni­ca­tion design­er worked for RTL, ZDF and Razor­fish, as well as Arte and Nick­elodeon.

 

She is a founder mem­ber of the z zg – Zen­trum Zeit­basierte Gestal­tung (2009), and since 2011 has been a direc­tor of the Insti­tute for Media Design at the Mainz Uni­ver­si­ty of Applied Sci­ences.
