Prof Anja Stöffler has taught digital design within the media design course at Mainz University of Applied Sciences since 2001. She has made a name for herself in animation for dynamic digital media, particularly with moving typography – including the multi-award-winning and frequently shown production “Moving Types”. Before she was invited to Mainz, this qualified communication designer worked for RTL, ZDF and Razorfish, as well as Arte and Nickelodeon.

 

She is a founder member of the z zg – Zentrum Zeitbasierte Gestaltung (2009), and since 2011 has been a director of the Institute for Media Design at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences.
