Anja Thröne is Senior Mar­ket­ing Man­ag­er with DVV, Deutsch­er Volk­shochschul-Ver­band e.V. – the Ger­man Adult Edu­ca­tion Asso­ci­a­tion. Since 2012, Anja Thröne has led the brand­ing process with­in the first nation­al cor­po­rate design for Volk­shochschulen (VHS, ‘adult edu­ca­tion cen­tres’), and is respon­si­ble for the devel­op­ment and imple­men­ta­tion of the first VHS brand with­in Ger­many and at 35 inter­na­tion­al loca­tions. A fundrais­ing spe­cial­ist, she has worked for more than ten years mar­ket­ing var­i­ous non-prof­it organ­i­sa­tions in the areas of cul­ture, edu­ca­tion and devel­op­ment coop­er­a­tion. Anja Thröne is an assis­tant MBA lec­tur­er in the field of social marketing.
