Julia Peglow is not a digital native. As a child of the 1970s, she belongs to the generation that has one foot in the analogue age and the other in the digital age. She spent 20 years driving the turnaround as a strategic consultant and managing director for international branding and UX agencies such as MetaDesign, Zeichen & Wunder and icon incar. Among other things, she was responsible for the re-branding of the MINI and MediaMarkt brands, the UX design in all BMW Group vehicles and the tourism brand for her home city, “Einfach München”.

 

W&V selected Julia 2022 as one of “100 Köpfe – people to watch”: in her book “Wir Internetkinder” (Verlag Hermann Schmidt) and as a keynote speaker, she calls for a different approach to the digital world. She teaches design theory, design strategy and brand building in Vienna, Munich, Schwäbisch Gmünd and Bielefeld and is currently developing a leadership programme with the aim of bringing design methods into the processes of the business world.
