Julia studied Visual Design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd and at Ravensbourne College in London. She worked as a strategic consultant and managing director for international branding and UX agencies such as MetaDesign, Zeichen & Wunder and icon incar. Among other things, she relaunched the heritage brand MINI, developed the brand story for the first BMW i3 electric car, a new brand design for Mediamarkt and a tourism brand for her home city of Munich.


W&V selected Julia as one of »100 Köpfe – people to watch« 2022, she is an author (»Wir Internetkinder«, Verlag Hermann Schmidt), teaches as a lecturer in the Master’s program »Strategic Design« at the HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd, writes the column »diary of the digital age« in t3n and regularly on her blog of the same name.
