Since 2013 Katrin Berlet-Mai­weg has been glob­al brand man­ag­er at W. L. Gore & Asso­ciates, with respon­si­bil­i­ty for the Fab­rics Divi­sion brand port­fo­lio. As well as the ingre­di­ent brands GORE-TEX® and WINDSTOPPER®, this also includes the con­sumer brands GORE BIKE WEAR® and GORE RUNNING WEAR®. Pre­vi­ous­ly she direct­ed GORE-TEX® Footwear’s mar­ket­ing activ­i­ties in Ger­many, Aus­tria and Switzer­land. 

Katrin stud­ied in applied eco­nom­ics and media stud­ies in Bochum and Utrecht.
